Equipment List check for clueless Reloader

Good stuff!! I realized I needed the case trimming gadgets but forgot to include them-Thanks. I figured the case tray may come in handy if I use the press in the non-progressive/index mode which is appealing to me.

Equipment List check for clueless Reloader

Thanks for the replies and I appreciate the feedback...keep it coming!!. I do have a caliper and I ordered a tumbler and a scale already. I opted for the funnel because it's cheap and figured it may prove to be handy. The Double Disk and the charge bar...I dunno. I read a review that listed both...

    Weatherby Vanguard Trigger

I have an older Vanguard in 243 woodstock. Very accurate, extremely smooth action (like oiled glass is the best I can describe it) and a very good trigger. Trigger breaks at approx 4 lbs like a glass rod, very little creep and can easily shoot the advertised 1.5 MOA with what ever I feed it...

    Question about DPMS AR 15.

DPMS is considered one of the more accurate brands of Ar's. As far as what range it is good for is really dependent on barrel length more than anything. assuming you are putting a scope on it, a longer barrel will do better at the longer ranges than a short barrel (all else equal). Do you tell your spouse?

In my Gun room, guns appear and dis-appear (mostly appear) :uhoh: . In her barn horses appear and seldom dis-appear. Guns are still way cheaper than taking care of horses so we seldom give each other a hard time about our interests.

I have been searching the site for a while using search whenever I can to avoid asking the repetitive questions. I thank everyone for their informative posts that allowed me to learn from them. :) I have researched reloading as much as possible for what I feel my needs are (approx 500 rds 223...

well it's official from the CA DOJ

That sure was a scary picture you showed there. My dog happened to glance at my laptop screen and he yiped when he saw it, ran in the corner and peed while he trembled. :) Seriously, if I lived in such a communist state I would move.

    7mm Rem. Mag. Bullet advice

I second the plain $12-$14 a box Rem Core-Lokts. I have heard it from others many times and have seen it first hand myself many times. Fancier/more expensive bullets are often the hot ticket for bigger game but frequently tend to have to much penetration for Deer. I have had great sucess with...
