Can't buy the first one in MA (due to FS, bayo lug). We have a permanent ban on evil features. Now, the 2nd one with plain muzzle (or add a fixed permanent brake) is legal in MA, with 10 rounder of course. Government Profile post ban may be my next upper. I'm not really a fan of the HBAR.

I was shopping for a 3953 some time ago, couldn't find any local, so I picked up a 3913, pre-TSW. If I had found the 3953 first, I would be carrying that. I'm happy with the 3913; it's been back to the factory for a Safety Insp. & tuning.

Sounds like a great find! The Hi-Powers I've seen around here are either priced at $799, $1000 and up, or the "deals" at $599 are rusty & pitted. (I miss my HP; sold it 2 yrs back...)

Well... I looked at two Paras today. A Carry and the Warthog. The Warthog came home with me. Though I really like the LDA, I wanted another 1911 type, and the Carry just seemed very heavy (being steel vs. alloy).

Looking for input on lens color. I'm going to use these primarily with a red dot for indoor Bullseye matches. Indoors with irons on occasion. Secondary is outdoor pistol & rifle. Future is Trap (someday I'll get around to that game). So, indoors with Ultra Dot is my first goal for lens...

Got my used 642 about a month ago. I carry it in a pocket Nemesis. Great revolver! :)

For the range & HD, look at the 4 inch S&W M66, can be found for $300-$350 used. Nothing wrong with a good condition used Ruger GP100.
