I have no experience with Alien Gear personally though.

I would go with the Leupold rings.
I weight my cast bullets before I lube and size them.
For general range use it really don't matter so much.

I prefer Unique for the .45 Colt as well as most any other calibers.
I recommend the Hornady starter kit, with the bullet promotion it is a good deal on a great press.
I use an old 10" cast iron frying pan. They are cheap and hold plenty of wheel weights.
I prefer Hornady myself.
