The second edition of the VihtaVuori manual lists 7.9 - 8.8 grs as the charge for 180 gr. bullets in the 44 Spl. nothing listed for the 44 Mag.

You can get dies and supplies from Midway USA. I got good results with 3.6 gr. of Acc #2 and 95 gr. jacketed bullets
I use Lee dies for the carbine, but I still lube them.
I have had good luck with CCI SR primers, 16 gr. AA 1680 or 14 gr. IMR 4227 and 110 gr. bullets.
WWI .303 was loaded with strands of cordite.
