    Making a Gas Piston Shorty...

    I owned a BM M17 and found it to be neat.. I would opt for the Armalite 180 for a project like that.

    If Savage starting making the 99 would you buy it?

    I wouldn't mind one in 300 savage or maybe, .358. Lever's are cool and Savage made a great one in the 99.

    Your favorite S&W 357?

    My favorite for the reasons listed would be my 686 (3Inch), 7 shot, Bear Creek boot gripped beauty! Although, I really need a snubby too!

    S&W 686 or 686 Plus, which to buy?

    I purchased the 686P 7 shot 3 inch model. I can not say enough about how happy I am with it. Either way you will be happy for sure! Dave
