I would replace the pins. Break Free CLP is what I use on my Jewell. It leaves a very thin film that doesn't attract a lot of dirt and dust.
Ditto
This would be my choice
I completely agree. The article caters to a certain crowd that thinks a 100 year old cartridge is still better than what is being introduced today.
[ATTACH] 18" Faxon Gunner barrel which shoots amazing for the price. ALG rail, YHM brake, Vltor upper, Harris bipod, 4-16 Vortex with mil...
SK Standard+ shoots really well out of my Vudoo but if you have Center X, that would be my choice
When swapping between ammo, I have found that sometimes it takes a barrel 5-10 rounds to "season" with the next load before you get consistent...
Glad to hear they took care of the issue. I was warming up today and shot my B14R at 100 yards. The stars aligned and I shot the smallest group...
I'm a little envious of that green grass. I had to trudge through 8" of snow last weekend at the local range. Unusual for us this time of year,...
The original post said that this rifle will be used more for target shooting than hunting. Take a look at a target rifle and a hunting rifle....
What about Howa? I agree. When you look at the stocks that come on some of these budget rifles, you can see where the corners are cut to arrive...

I've been shooting an older Remington 243 with the heavy varmint profile barrel. Compared to my 6x47L and 6BR, this thing gets super dirty. 44...
I have very little experience with the 1-6 Vortex PST II but reviews show it as half a step behind the Razor for half the price.
Oh how I love the internet. I'm glad to see you are happy with a 308 but to say the 6.5CM is unproven is comedic. There is a precision rifle...
Right after Sandy Hook, I had a 20" 308 and was getting tired of the recoil, so I went to a local gunsmith and asked him to rebarrel it in a fast...
If you start a thread asking about a manufacturer and half the responses say stay away, I would call that a sign. I saw this on another forum...
Understood but everything is overpriced right now. When the bottom drops, it will be the one to own.
I would own a SFAR in 6 ARC before any of the other choices. Much cheaper to feed.
My blem kit I bought from them 5 or 6 years ago runs. I think it was $300 and I had to add the stock kit and trigger group which were takeoffs...
