SP101 & S&W 686-6 Plus
1911 Condition one. No issues for decades, thank God.
All my 1911's are production carry variants. Among them I must say my Ruger 1911's are the best runners. I have Zero experience with custom models.
EDC is a Colt or Ruger 1911 strong side; a 2.25" SP101 on the left. Both reside in Simply Rugged leather.
I absolutely love how they say "allowed" as if it is a given that someone has the right to allow or disallow. Why do so many buy into the premise...
Liked my SR 1911 so much I purchased a 2nd Gov't and a 3rd Commander variant as well; all Rugers.
You bet; bought a second SR1911 after owning the first for 6 months and added a 3rd ( a Commander Variant) for one of my sons just this past Christmas
Anytime outside of the local area there's a carbine in the boot;usually an AR or lever action 30.30, in addition to the EDC sidearm.
Never anything less than my everyday back-up SP-101 with .38 plus P's
Yup; Colt series 70 MkIV 1911.
I "deep-sided"those crappy Houges immediately after opening the box replacing them with a used set of The previous standard, Lett's.
Liked my SR1911 so much I bought a second and a Ruger Commander as well for my younger son. While other folks have commented negatively about...
.45acp
None of those listed. Carry every day. Care to take a guess?
Just a lovely piece ..just wonder why the compromised barrell length?
1st Carry Series 70 Gov't Model 1911...still carry a 1911 (including the original) in one variant or another and the occasional service 4" revolver.
AR in the M4 variant makes a great home defense carbine.....but as my one and only? Not even close; for anything beyond close home defense I'll...
This man still does...even with jeans and boots.
Fond of the 4.25" GP 100 myself.
With the exception of a single fine S&W..Rugers all
