Post Election Day Buying Spree (No bantering please)

I see the industry hurting hard for sales with the makeup of Congress and the White House. No foreboding sense of dread and doom of federal gun control crashes the market. No panic buys, no run on mags, ammo, parts, and guns. That all develops to unsold inventory taking up shelf space and piling...

Post Election Day Buying Spree (No bantering please)

If you thought the post-2016 Trump slump in the firearms industry was bad, just wait for this one. Guns will be below DIRT CHEAP PRICES. Gonna snatch up deals left and right. Will suck for manufacturers, distributors, and dealers though.

    Handguns for Armed Security guards

FL used to limit G licensed Security Guards to .38 Special RNL only. Then they allowed 9mm in FMJ only. Now, FL allows revolvers chambered in .38 Special or .357 Magnum, as long as the load is .38 Special. For automatics 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP is allowed. JHP is allowed now too. 12 Gauge...

    1,000,000 through a Glock story?

Battlefield Vegas for a while had a thread on Arfcom that tracked their guns. They had Gen 4 G17s go the distance and they said the failure point was typically the point of contact on the slide where the guide rod goes since that wasn't as thick as the Gen 3s.

Slap on these grips, and I'd be down for it.

You can take the Cuban out of Miami, but you can't take the Miami out of the Cuban.

Out of the Recon series, the .45 Recon always appealed to me more. But my dream PC automatic is the CQB .45 I'll eventually find one for a deal.

I tried to haggle, they said they marked it down from $1,800 already. This shop always has nice stuff, but priced high. I'm willing to let it sit there and wait them out. I doubt anyone locally will buy it. But if it doesn't move, they'll probably throw it on Gun Broker.

I'm still a .40 S&W fan and love it. Carried .40 S&W for the majority of my LE career.

Oh, this isn't as an investment piece. Nothing I buy is as an investment piece.

To buy or not to buy.

I have folding money for fun guns. And I buy guns just to have. But for some reason, while I want more PC guns, this one isn't priced at a "screw it, can't pass up this deal" price range. It is at the "that's fair market right now, and they're rare, and I can actually see this one in person and...

Local shop has a S&W Performance Center .40 Recon for $1,400 plus tax and background fee. For those that don't know, the .40 Recon is an aluminum framed compact 9rd .40 S&W 3rd Gen. Only a few hundred were made. They came with Bar-Sto barrels and Briley two-piece titanium barrel bushing...

Ruger PC Carbine: Still shootin' it?

Love mine, it is the modern day M1 Carbine. Cheap to shoot, reliable, and handy.

Things that gun makers won't do that seem obvious they should do.

GLOCK blue label is $398, out the door in FL, you're paying about $420. GSSF fees are $35.

Beretta released them simply as extended barrels so they could be sold in states that banned threaded barrels.
