All the small primered rifle cartridges that I reload now get a magnum primer. I'm using my standard small rifle primer stash in pistol cartridges.
What a great way to re-purpose things that would otherwise be discarded! Thanks for the ideas.
Yeah, it's tough to do in a gale force wind. Another consideration is where you do this.....obviously there are contaminants in the dust so one...
Run it until it doesn't work any more......I was using the dryer sheet method to clean out the dust but I found an even better (easier) way a few...
I'm in the waste of time camp....never seen it make a measurable difference in group size.....it's one of those steps that falls into the "I've...
I love my Savages too....and they are very accurate. But one or 2 small groups does not a 1/4" rifle make. If it does in fact shoot like that...

I wish I lived close to you.....I've got the tools to unscrew that barrel and get a really good look at it.....Maybe Savage needs to hear about this?
Forgive me for coming late to the party. You've obviously been talking about this rifle on the forum.....but I haven't seen the other threads. I...
