Smallest powder incriment in ladder building.

0.2 grains usually. Then when I find two adjacent loads shooting similar velocities and to the same spot, I split the difference for my next loads. So usually my loads are "odd" numbers; 21.3 grains for example, instead of 21.2 or 21.4

Found a Unicorn at a Gun Show

I sold mine....wasn't that excited about it over a Browning and a couple of 1911's I had.

    Budget 3x flip magnifier options?

Well, I just bit on the 4X Monstrum prism deal for $101 after tax. I'm willing to throw good money after bad for an occasional hidden gem.

    Just got my NRA ballot

I don't know who to vote for other than the reform candidates but it is an indication of the problem that the @#^#& ballot won't fit in the envelope without folding!

Best way to mark ar platforms and mags

Well, when they were nice to us, Magpul used to sell "sand" magazine bases for AR10 and AR15 mags. You could die them to colors with Ritz dye. I bought a package or two and now need more. My 300Blk mags all have yellow bases (yellow for caution). 450 Bush have a blue base. Anything black...

I think our gun rights are about to come under heavy attack.

It's already disappearing. The primary guy charged is an idiot, a thug, and the wrong "image" to keep the story alive.

Lament of a Left Handed Mini-14 Owner

If it's like my former Mini-14, somewhere in the direction of the moon.....finding the brass was always impossible.

Lament of a Left Handed Mini-14 Owner

I have a side folding charger, had the side folding Butler creek, and others. I'm a lefty and never noticed a problem. But I have two similar underfolders for 10/22's and prefer them because of their lack of bulk. Also had a Law Tactical for an AR...and didn't really like it...heavy and bulky.

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

I had a mini-14 (580 series), a number of ARs, and a Saiga in 7.62X39. I sold the mini-14 because it wasn't nearly as accurate as my Stag 5.56 AR, because it required proprietary mags, and because the AR was repairable with the duplicates I had. I sold the Saiga because it felt cheap...

    Too Paranoid?

Mods, please close this thread. I intended to see if others had seen recent potential anti-gun activity by delivery agents, but didn't foresee it becoming a carrier-bashing thread. Thanks to those who had recent stories to tell.

Smiley face cut on case mouth using Lee powder through expanding die

I don't know if you always do it that way, but in your picture, the case is not fully inserted into the shell holder. That'll do it.

    Help! Fiberoptic Weaver-mounted shotgun bead

    Yeah, you're right, it's gone. Well...imagine an AR15 with a 410 upper and you'll have it.

    Help! Fiberoptic Weaver-mounted shotgun bead

That bad eh? Well, I admit I know absolutely nothing about shotguns. I'll stay with the red dot for now. But tell me this; am I correct in believing that I shouldn't shoot 410 slugs through this thing without removing the full choke?

    Help! Fiberoptic Weaver-mounted shotgun bead

Okay, I may be crazy or misled so please explain to me where I'm thinking wrong.....I just bought a BCA 410 shotgun complete upper like this one (20 inch barrel and has a 15 inch handguard). It has a short weaver-style rail on the front end of the handguard and I'm thinking it'd be perfect to...

    Too Paranoid?

I understand now how easy conspiracy theories start. I ordered a BCA complete upper a couple of weeks back (410 shotgun) and it shipped Friday FedEx. It went quickly from NC to Kansas and yesterday I got a notice at 8:56 a.m. that it was "out for delivery". Then, at only 1:52 p.m. another...

Scored a sweet Henry 45-70 today

Why can't I run across a 45-70 with a deal like that? That scope, BTW is not a $200 scope. Lists currently on Amazon for $129 and I've bought several within the last 6 months for $99. Try Joe-Bob's.

7.62 Yahweh cartridge, is anyone familiar with it?

Forget the cartridge closeup, what about that wacky spiral gas tube? :what: I can see that vibrating with each shot and lasting about 4 rounds fired before it bursts!

Norma USA - Ammo Can Blowout

Have a Harbor Freight nearby....the metal ammo can's go on sale often for $12 so I just grab them and tak'em home. Like Ron above, though, I have a problem where I always have a few more than I need and still find it hard to walk by the display.
