Did I buy the wrong Barnes bullet for my blackout?

Thanks for the info. I loaded up 10 125g speer tnt's that I planned to shoot first then 10 of the 110g ttsx. I'll shoot them tomorrow to see how they group. I guess that Tac-tx is what they call the black tips?

Did I buy the wrong Barnes bullet for my blackout?

I've had a couple boxes of #30362 110g ttsx bullets I bought years ago thinking they we appropriate for use on a .300 blackout. Today I'm trying to load them and I'm thinking maybe these are not the ones I need. Seems like Barnes made a lot of different 110g bullets. Thanks, Clutch

    How much brass to save

If I see brass, I pick it up. Back when .40 was the rage I picked it up, now it isn't the rage and I'm glad I have what I have. Same for .45 acp. Once a month I shoot our clubs action pistol event. There isn't time to pick up my brass while shooting and after tearing things down my old body...

    Ruger PC9 "TWAaanggg"

Twang just doesn't sound right. My cz457 when it was in the synthetic stock and I ran a suppressor is twangy. Much better now that I swapped it into a laminate stock.

    Which .45ACP for home defense?

Ruger P90DC in the bedroom. DA/SA decocking. It should do the job.

    Reloading bottlenecks, what's a good beginner's cartridge?

Do the .30/30 first. I started loading on a Lee Loader because 7.7 Arisaka was very expensive 45 years ago.

Risk of Injury from Concealed Carry

I'll never carry small of back. I was watching carpenters working on my nephews house. They were climbing ladders with a hammer on a holster small of back. Landing on your spine with something hard there seems like a trip to a wheel chair for life. 3 o'clock and seat belts could hurt. I've...

Saw some Unique on the shelf yesterday

Is there anything that is close to being a grain for grain replacement for pistol loads? I'm down to my last two pounds of Unique.

    What's the Difference in Glass

Cheap glass selection will leave you with chromatic aberration. It is the purple fringing you probably have seen in cheaper optics.

    9MM brass…any preference?

I'm not that picky, I shoot an action pistol match once a month and leave it lay as we need to keep moving. During the month when I visit the range I do a walk about and pick up the shiny stuff that is mostly once fired factory. I also pick up the brass I shot that day. Tumble, deprime, size...

Best .22LR Magzine for dedicated AR upper?

I was thinking Black Dog when I asked but it was nice to get some confirmation. Two steel lips on the way. Thanks very much,

Best .22LR Magzine for dedicated AR upper?

I'm sitting here looking at my RRA .22 LR magazine and notice that the feed lips are plastic. I was thinking of buying a couple more as I'll soon be retired and have more time to shoot. Does someone make a better one before I spend my money? Thanks, EDIT Left out the word "Magazine" in...

Is my Man Card in Jeopardy? .375 H&H Mag is too much for me

I have a .338 WM, thought I might go elk hunting, not going to happen at my age. I have molds to cast bullets for it and I'm a hand loader so making a reduced load is in my reach. I keep hoping my nephew wants to go elk hunting, I'll give him the rifle in advance of my demise.

Shooting down an Su-34 with a rifle

Glad it didn't get you. Lets be careful out there. Given enough time, something will trip you up.
