    absolutely sure on williams. theirs and B-square both use the same hole pattern as the weaver #1. I'll try to post pictures if that will help

    If you were a soldier in Iraq and had a choice of combat rounds, 7.62x39 or 5.56?

    round? the 5.56, weapon? the AK, you can bury that thing in the mud and sand and leave it there for years then dig it up, dust it off and shoot the hell out of it. I've seen it first hand. with the 16 you had better keep it clean and lubed.

    Here's the problem, I have a Savage model 340 bolt action chambered in 30-30. My particular rifle did not come from the factory drilled and tapped for the side mount.
