Yep, they make great mags. I've never had a failure with mine. For that matter, I've not had a failure with the Wilson mags that came with my 1911 either.
+1 on the Fobus floor mount. I'll try and post pictures later. The set up that I got was just the mounting brackets. It came with 2 brackets. There was a bracket to mount under a desk and a mount that works perfectly in the vehicle. You then just buy the holster that fits your gun and screw...
I guess I didn't pay attention. Good for him, though...

Guns Save Lives
By John Stossel
It's all too predictable. A day after a gunman killed six people and wounded 18 others at Northern...
This thread so irritated me last night that I actually discussed it with a friend who is a moderator on another website. He said he sees this all the time and it never ceases to amaze him that we are our own worst enemy. As I continued to read the long and eloquent posts since my own, I saw...
Ok, I read this entire thread, then thought maybe I shouldn't post. I don't generally make waves. I left, went to the kitchen and came back because this doesn't make any sense to me. I agree with Louisiana Carry to the T.
I thought these type of laws were exactly what most of us were...
Yes, we all saw what "robbery gone bad" looks like this last week. Personally, I believe if you have a weapon in your hand I can only assume you intend to use it and will act accordingly.
The more I watch, the more I see that at the time of the initial engagement, the BG was far to the right. You can think of all the things you would have wanted to do with all of this time to think about it afterwards. My first thought was maybe ask the woman and baby to move away so we can get...
Not as loud as you'd think. At the simplest explanation, it's basically the difference between shooting a round from a gun and lighting that much powder in a pile under no restrictions. The explosion is the pressure being finally released, not the powder burning. Of course, there would be...
We were bump firing SKS/AR/CETMEs/AKs a while back just for fun and I thought about trying it with a handgun. Then I had this vision of a .45 cal bullet exiting the top of my head. That finalized the decision for me.
It says it's because they "cut the BBs out". So, basically it was just the powder and wad. Still potentially lethal at that range in addition to the drunk potential of loading the wrong round in the chamber.
On top of it all, the brother goes on record as saying that this was "an act of war" and that he went to war as "a one man army". I don't know if that is the kind of thing I'd be saying in the wake of this type of thing.
I don't know the story, but I live in a moderate sized town and have...
Fobus makes a floor mount that you might find a spot for in there. I prefer to have it on me, but (having been in an accident with a gun not in a secure holster) I always have something mounted solid if it is not strapped to me.
Wow, hey all. That's great, I'm glad we've made the leap and joined up. This place is growing by leaps and bounds. It's good to see you all. This is a good place with good people.
