Anyone in Montana know of a class 3 dealer in Eastern/Central MT? The nearest one I can find on the internet is in Bozeman, and I don't get that far west very often.
Has anyone pointed out that to fight an action like having someone wrongfully arrested for legally carrying in the airport someone actually has to be arrested?
Until someone is harmed by this administrator's misdeeds it is all theoretical.
If you don't mind me asking, what did the FNP cost? The only one I have seen was at a gunshow and it was well over $600. I don't remember the 9 or 40 costing that much.
Now this may be urban legend but I've heard the best way to hunt them is to go out in the swamp with some sweet potatoes, a light, and a .22lr. Throw the sweet potatoes up on the bank wait and when you hear movement shine the light and shoot where you see eyes.

Where do you live OK Caveman?
I am assuming on a WMA. We still hunt hogs year round here on private land.
Thank you. Sorry I forgot to mention the "small" detail of it being a DAO pistol.
The one we have has a 4 inch barrel on it and is nickel finished except for the latch and the trigger and trigger guard as described.
Again thank you all very much for all the information you have conjured up...
Yes, the hammer is enclosed and the grips are a hard black rubber. The pistol has a nickel finish. There is a grip safety on the back of the grip. Any idea of when this would have been made?
Thanks ya'll that is some interesting information. Its very cool to have something that old, come back into our family.
It is a double action only pistol.
My step-dad was given an old Smith and Wesson revolver today by one of his patients. I was wondering if I could get some information on it?
The markings on it consist of
+Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass U.S.A.+ on the top of the barrel
38. S.&W. CTG on the left side of the barrel
The...
The BLR has internals more akin to a bolt action than a classic lever, there isn't an old style lever made that has the strength to stand up to those kinds of pressure.
I am probably the only one on this forum that will admit that I actually am a fan of this guy. Its a bummer that he is going to have some legal problems to deal with now.
Those revolvers were purpose built for the tunnel rats, they used a "silenced cartridge" that fired a bullet through the force of a piston hitting the back of the projectile if I recall correctly. They were very short barrelled and were .44's.
Also due to its unique design, in which the...
As has already been mentioned that is my daughter...and she was definatly not around during the actual gunfire. She watched through the window of the house as we shot towards the backyard range. I just enjoy putting muffs on her and trying to talk to her. I am such a mean dad.;)
Even though I know for a fact I will catch hell over the shirt, here is me and my progeny
And here is me with my first striper. Caught out of the Red River below Denison Dam
Both of these are gun pictures...Taurus Snubbie FTW!
