    35 Remington boat load!

Given the OP, I though it was about loads to shoot out of boats.

    Dialing in concentricity

If the bushing die, with the correct bushing gives you the amount of neck tension you’re looking for like .002”, what does the mandrel do for you? Or can you just get by with just the bushing die?

    .357 case length

They’ll be fine. If they’re all within that small range I wouldn’t even trim for a roll crimp.

Have you become tired or bored with reloading?

I’ve found interest in hobbies change over time. You may pick up a new one or allocate more time to a different one. I had put aside rifle reloading for a bit but picked it back up recently. I know I’m not going to sell my guns, no way, no how so the reloading equipment stays here too. It...

    Dialing in concentricity

Welcome to THR! Indeed! THR has a 12 step process for you. This may help alleviate the fear as it gives you an idea of how many thou you have holding a bullet: https://ballistictools.com/store/match-grade-224-308-neck-tension I haven’t chased concentricity yet since there are too many...

Quick Qustion… Are Dillion XL650 conversion, compatible with XL750?

You’re only allowed one question per thread. My 9mm shell plate will spin .380s but I’m not sure the reverse is true. https://dilloncdn.com/magento/charts/xl750-conversion-chart.pdf

    Really Hornady....shhhh it's a secret

I’m not sure I understand the issue. Several of the bullet makers don’t publish a lot more information than weight and diameter. When I get a bullet I measure a few key parameters I need and note that.

    https://www.dillonprecision.com/s00601 Pretty sure they do.

    SD inconsistent… scale?

I’m surprised your ES/SDs were that good with min charges! Especially with a revolver. They’ll improve as you climb the ladder. For pistol, I too was surprised at the ES/SD numbers even when I was trying to be meticulous. You could measure bullet weight, length, diameter, seating depth...

    Compact that powder baby!!!!

The few loads I’ve tried that were “C”, the base of the bullet barely compressed the powder. IIR the starting load didn’t even compress. If the published load data indicates “C”, don’t worry, be happy. I wouldn’t let that deter me, especially if the powder is available.

    Our Ladder Is Broken

So the different load development methodologies like OCW, Audette, etc are BS? It’s poor form to confuse a grayhead.

Should I sell my last Bullseye and Trail Boss and pay off my mortgage?

Well, you’ve got a scale, measure out small plastic packets and stand on the corner…. That pound will go a looooooong way.

    Remington Primers

I’ve only used a few sleeves of 5 1/2 sp, with no issues. I believe Remington has different numbers but don’t know all the ins and outs of which ones to use.

    230 gr 45 XTP bullets

I‘ve tried Red dot and 231, both worked, but I’m surprised no one mentioned Bullseye. I thought Bullseye was THE powder for .45 target.

Ball/Spherical Powder - Cold Weather Issues

Very cool! I’m following to see what happens! There is a thread that’s going to compare chronos, may be worth checking out. I also realize while 49 may be cold to you, if you develop a load at 79 that’s a 30 degree difference. What isn’t obvious is the temperature sensitivity of the powder...

Let us know how the range time goes?

Ball/Spherical Powder - Cold Weather Issues

Seriously? That’s not really cold. I’ve not used W572 so I can’t speak to that, but have a lot of data for W244 and it’s not temperature sensitive for me in the 85 down to 20 range. Granted I didn’t try it at -11 the other day, but I really doubt it would have struggled and squibbed. I guess...

Looking for load data for win 244 with 147 gr RN

@tazawoo2006 , welcome to THR! The NRA metallic class is for the basics and IIR doesn’t cover extrapolating published load data to come up with data for a different projectile. The bullet diameter will make a difference, but it’s difficult to say how much. Some programs can approximate that...

    Single Stage Press Advice

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are “Similar threads”. I started with a RCBS jr. My son now has and uses it, and I have a RCBS rockchucker. They’re solid presses, but other companies have similar solid presses.
