    Bergara Premier 6.5 Creedmoor

Think the handle threads in at the root, but im going from memory and havent actually removed it. Nice choice on the Mk4!

    Bergara Premier 6.5 Creedmoor

My dad shoots the same rifle. Hes been thrilled with his and weve taken it out to 1900yds, tho hits at that range probably have more to do with tenacity and luck then skill or ability. His gun is topped with a Sightron s3 10-50, and he shoots whatever i happen to have loaded. The rifles been...

    Daewoo K2 rifle reintroduction?

They are still around here. The little daewoo eggs are old and ugly, but surprisingly common. I kinda wanted a K2 for some time, but gunbroker has been my only option.....if these are good, and reasonably priced i might look at one down the road

    H&R lever gun

Its interesting there are as many different lever guns now as there are. I just picked up an r92 in 45colt, so im out of the market, but its always good to see another option.

    Serac scope gone bad

I bought 4 I think, sent one back almost immediately. Viridian handled the warranty the way most companies do now and just sent out another one no questions asked. I have 1 in use and gave 2 or 3 away.

Thoughts? Christiansen Arms Mesa vs Tikka T3X

Perhaps ive been unusually lucky, Ive got 5 Christensen and all have been great lol.

Thoughts? Christiansen Arms Mesa vs Tikka T3X

I happen to like the Christensens i have and have chosen the mesa over the t3x more than once. That said your not really getting a "better" gun with the Mesa, but if you like it better then your not getting a worse gun either..... Thus (imo) it comes down to personal preference.

    Taming a 7mm Mag

Consider stock design and recoil pad. Could also add weight, muzzle brake, or suppressor. 7s are kinda my thing ive had most flavors. The Rem Mag isnt particularly unpleasant when housed in a 9-10lb gun with squishy pad. Its very pleasant recoil wise with a brake, but requires hearing...

What's the hunting scope magnification sweet spot for up to 600 yards?

I dont have any real interest in shooting animals at more then a few hundred yds, but I like scopes capable of target shooting out to over 1000, and i like more magnification on my scopes than less. Most of my hunting rifle optics start at 4/6 and end at 15/20, i rarely set anything lower than...

What's your "Go To" knife while out hunting big game?

Unless i completely forget a knife i carry between 3 and 6 usually. Buck 118 and or Cutco hunter, game processing set, pocket knife, and maybe 1 or 2 other fixed blades depending on how many animals i might be processing before sharpening.

    Simple quality 3-9x40 optic.

Ive owned both the weaver Kaspa 3-9 and the Neos 3-9. Both are reasonably good for the cost imo, i dont really recommend them if you can afford higher tier scopes. But if i was stuck with one it wouldnt be the end of the world. As a Note Natchez has Philippines or Korean made scopes (been...

    Simple quality 3-9x40 optic.

Ive had at least one variant of all of those listed and each has some advantages and disadvantages. The leupold is light and reasonably good at everything, but expensive for what you get. The GPO is optically better than the rest (unless you get an unusually good ff2), but heavier and with a...

    Leupold or Burris

Depending on the specific units I usually find that the Burris fullfield are nicer than the Leupold, vx1s. I found it the VX freedoms and vx2 seem to be pretty close for the most part and usually have slightly better resolution than the fullfield 2.....not enough to matter, and it could just be...

    Spray Can Camo

I use mostly Krylon paints also i do topcoat with clear truck bed liner sometimes. Ive been meaning to try sponging on the air cure cerakote and see how that works, but only have one color at the moment lol.

    Spray Can Camo

Its odd how hard it is to get "target" stocks and chassis for long action rifles. I suppose the shorts are more popular in general, but still id figure there would be more options than there are. Thats a beautiful rifle, and id bet its comfortable and steady!

Thanks! Yeah the vertical grips arnt horribly common but they are gaining popularity.

    Spray Can Camo

Its a Springfield 2020 rimfire.....wouldn't recommend the rifles till the accuracy improves, but yeah the stock and everything else feels great.
