I flew a couple of weeks ago from Newark to San Fran and back. The women at EWR know what to do. She gave me the card (with Jetblue it looks like a large luggage tag with string on it) with my flight info on it). I signed it and attached it to the gun case that was inside my suitcase. Then...
I rarely carry my LCP in an iwb holster but I have 2. The N82 tactical original subcompact https://n82tactical.com/product-category/holsters/holsters-ruger/holsters-ruger-lcp/ is super comfortable without an undershirt but on me it seems to print more than the same type holster carrying a...
I used to carry a Seecamp .32 but had occasional nightmares about shooting a perp and him not even noticing. I switched to an LCP in .380 and haven't had that nightmare since. The LCP is bigger but lighter.
You are lucky. In my county of 1 million people there are 2 or 3 gun stores. There is 1 gun store within 20 minutes of my home. They charge msrp for all guns. I recently bought off the internet a Ruger LC9s for $100 less than msrp.
It's out already, It's called the Glock 26. ;)
A couple of companies have slip on grips to give you more to hold on to. I have small hands so it's not a problem for me.
I just bought a Ruger LCP from them last week. I ordered it on line then emailed them a copy of my local guys FFL. They sent me an email that said they were 5 to 7 business days behind and then they shipped it a day or 2 later. It's been at my FFL since Wednesday while i wait the 3 to 8 weeks...
I was thinking about this from a slightly different angle
I recently asked myself "which gun would I check on an airplane knowing that there is a possibility it might get lost or stolen." The answer is the 2" Rossi stainless .38 I picked up for $50. Better that than my $500+ Glock.
Simple answer, NO. There might be some exceptions ins some states or situations but you should err on the side of caution and assume that answer is no. Generally, you can only use deadly physical force to prevent or terminate a crime that involves the use or threatened of force that can cause...
Ask your friend, the undersheriff. Ideally, you would like to find someone that can speak informally to the judge on your behalf. At least that might get you an interview with the judge. This will give you the opportunity to show him that you've turned your life around. I think that would be...
You can not possess any handgun in NYS without a NYS pistol permit, even in your home. You should either leave the gun in Missouri or better yet stay in Missouri. You would need to have an FFL in your home state ship the revolver to an FFL in NYS. They will hold it until you can obtain a NYS...
In NYC there are many agency's that employ unarmed police/peace officers. They include Hospital police, school safety, TLC, Park rangers, and others. They may have OC and/or batons but most don't carry guns.
The PD I work for cleaned out the gun safe of all the confiscated and surrendered handguns and offered them to the officers for $50 a piece. I got 4 guns for $200 including 2 slightly rusty old style Colts, a DS and an Agent.
