I use 303 bullets in my M44 (303 PPU FMJBT 190gr)
They work great.
I trust my Mosin M44.
Even though its not a long range hunting rifle its accurate enough to 100yrds.
My first was a 22lr pistol CZ 122 sport. It was really accurate but a bit picky with ammo. I still regret selling it

It propably will tie up your revolver, but drilling the flashhole bigger will help. Just remember not to use that brass again with real loads.

When I put my guns in the safe they are usually cleaned and oiled after use so I dont see any point in wiping them.
