    Birthday Colt New Frontier .45

Nice Frontier, but yes, please replace those grips. Actually, Colt’s “bad” years were more towards the middle of the 1980s. And that doesn’t mean all their SAAs & Frontiers were bad, just a few too many were sloppy. They still made plenty of good pieces. My SAA .357 is a 1979 production -...

Kahr PM 9 with PPK inheritance

Later on when Locked & Loaded had a closeout sale for the newer S9 at $218, I had to grab one just for the heck of it. IMO, a quality pistol with excellent fit & finish…..like the above four were. Have not shot this S9 yet, but might gift it to another family member.

    S&W price sanity check!

Seems $899 asking price might be inthe average range. I’d snatch it up right now for $800, and probably would go the full price if desperate enough. https://live.amoskeagauction.com/lot-details/index/catalog/91/lot/54654/Smith-Wesson-Model-18-3-Double-Action-Revolver

SAA - is there a more beautiful revolver?

My Rugers ain’t bad looking but they are not quite on the same level with my SAA. And for little bitty revolvers I’ll put up my North American Mini breaktop over its competitors.

S&W 38-2 Satin Nickel - Very Cool light gun

Well, I don’t shoot +p through it. Don’t even know if it’s rated for those loads. Bought it 25 years ago from a Texas LEO who carried it as a backup in an ankle holster.

Old NAA .22 in red Box - how old is it?

I did pay about $400 for the little one, but PSA had a one day flash sale on the 2.5” version for $199.99. It took me about 1 second to make up my mind to jump on it. Wish I had ordered a dozen.
