    S&W 6906

They are good pistols, I had a 6906 and a 6946. I agree with what all have said above, but if you pick one up, and have problems, know that spare parts are getting harder to come by.

Using Beretta 92 Slide Release: Damage?

It will not cause damage, it was designed to be used that way. If your concerned about potential damage, learn to lube it property and how to change out some springs and you'll be shooting it forever.

anyone tried NP3 by Robar to reduce friction, or ....

For most autos I think it makes no difference. However, a NP3 coated Beretta 92 with light grease on the rails and block was is the easiest auto I have ever racked, and was a pretty nice shooter.

    22 ammo score!

On Sunday, but bought 250 rds of CCI at Walmart. I would've bought an additional 250 rds, but decided to pay it forward and leave it for the next person looking for ammo. .22 has been hard to find, but I'm seeing more of it now...

    Father's Day Shoot

I myself took my 10 year old out to shoot his grandpa's .22 revolver for his very first time. His smile was ear to ear! Great day.

First time flying with pistol/ccw in tacoma wa

As stated, there is no longer reciprocity with WA, which has since become progressively less gun friendly since I lived there. Have a nice trip!

    Found a Grendel P12

My experience: had one in the mid 90's, all I could afford at the time. Shot it a couple of times, trigger broke. Sent to factory, for repair, returned. The first release of the slide on a loaded mag caused a "slam fire." I have an unfavorable opinion of them and over the years understand...

Great aunts Rosie the Riveter story

WK, very cool. I do not know the answer to your question, but I think your great aunt and what she is holding is priceless!!! My grandmother was a riveter during WWII, and worked for McDonnell-Douglas in San Diego. I've inherited her steel tool box M-D gave "all the girls" when they got to...

    S&W6906 Shoots Low?

TD, I've owned a 6906 and mine always shot low. Conversations with others on the S&W Forum revealed that this was a common characteristic for several owners. I think several called S&W and the front sight height was was traded out for a higher one. I always had to completely cover the target...

    How to eliminate wrist break/flinch.

RF- I went the other way and managed to work on my flinch by shooting, slowly and semi-rapid, a larger caliber revolver, before shooting my 9, .40, .45 ACP semi-autos. I always left one chamber empty too; this was important. Once I was sensitized to the recoil of a larger caliber, moving onto...
