    Armadillo

"How does one clean an armadillo? Seems like it would be a kind of a pain with the shell and all that." Best way I know how is to put him in a thick plastic garbage bag shell and all. No mess.

CCW, "Duty to Inform," and refusing a search

Very clearly, I did NOT speak of Florida laws. Im not going to educate you or anyone else on the various laws concerning probable cause. If you doubt what Im telling you, do your own research. Not one place in my post did I mention Florida law. However, I can tell you that probable cause has...

Bushmaster or DPMS?'s, New to Assault Weapons.

I have 2 DPMS and like them both very much. I have shot many others and, for the price, I stick with DPMS. I have shot tactical courses too very successfully. If it fires, it is going to be more of the handler than the rifle as to which is better on a given course.

CCW, "Duty to Inform," and refusing a search

I don't know Florida law to tell you all of the consequences. However, if you lie and the LEO finds out, you just gave him probable cause to arrest you and your vehicle WILL get searched at that point. Don't overlook the obvious too; if the officer figures out you lied, he will likely...

CCW, "Duty to Inform," and refusing a search

It may have already been pointed out but bears repeating if so - a duty to inform is NOT the same thing as giving consent to a search. Two totally different issues. In TX, we must hand our CHL to the officer IF we are carrying. If not, the law does not require display. You can still refuse a...

TX - Can a normal restaurant put up a 51% sign just for giggles?

I have not read the various responses but, NO, they may NOT put up the 51% sign just for the hell of it. Contact the management and ask if they in fact get 51% of annual revenue from on premises consumption of alcohol (in which case, it is valid). If not, ask why they have the sign up. If...

Looking for good price on S&W M&P15-22

Is that Bud's the same Buds that is "Bud's Gun Shop" and uses GunBroker.com? The 2nd hit on my google search had bold capital letters to avoid them and several people had bad experiences with them. Including Bud's committing fraud. I hope the one you mention is different. Do you have a link...

Looking for good price on S&W M&P15-22

A local shop has the M&P in stock for 449 but I have seen online for 375. Problem is, the online shop is out with no indication if/when it will have more. Anyone know of a good shop with a price enough lower than 449 to justify the effort and that actually has one? Also, I read somewhere...

    Homeowner Charged After Shooting Intruder

Probably from this quote - "You said that you would not be prosecuted, at all, ever, for a legit self defense shooting." Doesn't exactly match now does it. Im done. Im right and Im done.

    Homeowner Charged After Shooting Intruder

I defy you to find those words in any post I have made. You are misquoting even when my words are directly in front of you and everyone else reading here.

    Homeowner Charged After Shooting Intruder

I did not say any such thing nor anything that can reasonably be so construed. Either debate what I said or keep quiet. Im not interested in debating something I never even implied. Look up the castle doctrine - here is an application showing my position correct: After his home was...

    Travel with long gun

Best way to be sure, plot out your itinerary and check the laws of each state/city. Cities can not enact ordinances that override state law. If a state says you can, you can. Putting your gun in a locked box is always a step in the right direction just in case you get stopped.

    Homeowner Charged After Shooting Intruder

Yes I really am a Texas attorney and a former prosecutor that never lost. I am right. Do your own research.

    Homeowner Charged After Shooting Intruder

"if the person decides to stop trying to enter deadly force is no longer an option. " That may be in GA but not in TX. If you are on my property and have made any threatening moves, I can shoot you dead without fear of prosecution, fleeing or not.
