I thought one of the best things about it is that you attach the cable to your seat rail. Seems like that would be pretty difficult to get around in the normal amount of time someone would be leaving a gun in their car. That said, concealed compartments are definitely an interesting idea...

I'm no expert (not sure what the "M" designates) but I used to have a 1st or 2nd gen Glock 20. Even as a newbie I never had any issues with the recoil. I plan on getting another at some point in the future.
