I have houge target mk2 grips on my 76 standard. Mine shoots pretty much anything that fits in the mag. Watch a youtube video to reassemble the gun. your headache will be much smaller.
I sure don't shoot much .270. My 700 is my main hunting gun, but it is not a pleasant gun to take to the range or fire more than to sight in the scope.
Most any decent revolver would do pretty well. It seems that the older the revolver i get, the better the build quality is though.
OH, and i have had excellent luck with taurus as well.
Squirrel hunting behind my house. Saw a squirrel in a tree, but lost him in the sun. Decided to shoot into the next tree over to see if i could scare it into moving. Next thing i see is another squirrel falling out of the tree i just shot into. Accidental neck shot.
Mine has been trouble free. It isn't a range gun and didn't have any problems is the several hundred rounds i have run through it. I have also had only good experience with taurus hundguns as well though.
I have a db380 with around 400 rounds through it. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I had one stovepipe due to limpwristing, but so far no other problems. It's a pretty accurate little gun as well. hornaday ammo seems to run perfect through mine.

I have a set without the recess. I would have gotten the recessed one if they weren't a one off experimental set that i scored for close to free. Vz decided to nix the colors.
I never knew that there were non military issue k31's. I have a k31 with a beat to hell beachwood stock. The blueing is excellent though and is by far my favorite rifle to shoot.
