Need 9mm, compact, poly frame suggestions.

Don't forget the Walther P99C - lighter than the C version of the 9mm M&P, and able to take 15 round full size magazines in addition to the 10 round ones. I have one and like it a lot. The PPS is a hell of a nice carry pistol, too, and magazines of various lengths are available for it.

Have a hard decision to make tomorrow, please help

I vote for the Walther P99C in 9mm. Very easily concealed, very accurate, and capable of using the 16 round full-size magazines. I have one and like it so much I sold the full-size P99. This is also one of the lightest 9mm designs out there. My feeling is that if I can't comfortably carry a...

    Walther PPS 9mm

I bought one of the first thousand "Limited Edition" run of this pistol. Came with a nifty box and three magazines. Flatness of design has always been important to me and the PPS fits this requirement beautifully, as well as being light to carry. After a few hiccups it smoothed out an now...

    S & w 3913

I had a couple of 908s and really admired them, but was finally able to trade up to the 3913 I really wanted: the elegant Ladysmith version. These are wonderful pistols and I compare them to Mossberg shotguns: utterly reliable, relatively inexpensive, accurate and American-made. The flat...

I recently received my Milt Sparks Executive Companion for the PPS. Not surprisingly, a great holster and very comfortable. Of course, I ordered it last September and it got here last week, but hell....

Poll for current and previous GLOCK owners only: Would you buy another GLOCK?

No, and I have had a couple 26s, a 34, a 17 and a 19, and never did like them, although the 34 was the best of the lot. I have just found pistols that were a lot more comfortable in the hand then the Glock. It is a fine design, but just not for me.

    i found a mac10

I agree with Fred. The Mac 10 is the bottom of the bucket as far as full-auto weapons go and is only suitable as a novelty act at the range. But first, you'd better make damn sure that the paperwork is right with this thing before you even pick it up again, let alone sink that kind of money in...

    Subcompact 9mm...HELP ME DECIDE!

I'd also consider the Walther P99C. This is the compact version of their very fine service pistol and is just about the size of the Glock 26. It is a more refined version, though, and far more comfortable in the hand. The magazine holds ten rounds, although you can get a sleeve that allows...

    What's your favorite wheel gun?

USFA Single Action Army in .44 special. This is actually a reproduction (right down to the same serial number) of great grandfather's blackpowder frame Colt, which I am scared to shoot. USFA makes a great product with beautiful finish and fitting:

    3" Wheel Guns?

I recently found a Colt Detective Special with an unusual three inch barrel. This makes for a very handy little revolver and I think much easier to shoot than the usual short version:
