What is Your Best 270 Winchester Load?

Really old post I know This load may sound a bit out there, but so far it is the ONLY load Ive found in my old M77 Ruger that will shoot under 1/2 an inch at 100 yds. There are several that will shoot 1-1.5 inch groups, with Remington 130 grain factory ammo being about the best. Sometimes I can...

    applying case lube

Lube pad and Lee Lube. The one shot works Ok but seems to me like the Lee Lube works better even if it is a little messy. You can tell a definite difference in how hard/easy it is to pull the handle between the 2/ Lee Lube is cheap too.

    Concealed carry opinions needed

I have recently Traded my Kimber Eclipse, which i loved, for a Kimber Ultra Carry, which I also love. Im a 1911 guy too and while bigger than you, I still had trouble finding a way to conceal the full size 1911. Too much grip poking out. too much barrel poking me in the hip. That said, Im...

sizer die for 9mm & 45acp, is it needed?

The factory crimp die isnt necessary as long as you have your bullet seat/crimp die set right. That said I use the factory crimper on my 45 cartridges because it seems to improve feeding in my 1911's with lead bullets. Especially on semi wad cutters. I used it for the post sizing aspect, not...

What is a good 25-06 bullet for deer?

Try the Hornady Interlocks. I have been using them for the last couple years in 270 on deer and they lay em down hard. Ive shot 3 so far. The first 2 were shoulder shot and they dropped where they stood, the last one this year was hit in the pump station, went 50 yards and left a blood trail...

    Missouri Bullet Company Load Thread

Havent used long shot, but Lil Gun is some good stuff for a 357. 16.5 grains behind a 158 gr Hornady XTP will shoot pretty snotty and 1 in groups at 100 yards out of my Marlin 1894. My daughter used it to deer hunt.

    Missouri Bullet Company Load Thread

For my 45 ACP 4.8grains of titegroup with either 200 grain lead round nose or swc is a nice target/fishing load. It is also the published max for 230 gr jacketed so I use it for the lighter bullets as well. Pretty accurate, easy to handle load. For my particular 270 win, ( the only load for MY...
