Do you have a picture? From the post with these pictures on glocktalk, even the guy at the Glock booth at the NRA show mentioned it must be a prototype and he wasn't sure how the 27 with reversible mag-catch managed to get there.
I've never tried it before but I've seen it done without the expected thumb-ripping result. The gun fires a round and the slide doesn't recoil. You would have to manually rechamber a round. Here's a clip on youtube that I've seen from another forum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw8sbb8eDjg
I was under the impression the 26/27/33 were much smaller than the 29/30. From handling at a gun store, I remember the 30 being significantly wider than the true babyglock. I cannot say that with any certainty though as I do not own any of them.
