Okay, I got a small base die the other day and re-sized some brass with it. I noticed that it does size it a little smaller, but it is still getting stuck. I also noticed another thing.
On my Lee expanding die, the neck of the case doesn't reach the top of the die because the bottom of the die...
Scratch what I said about the cases. Just tried another one and it got stuck the same. I think my big problem is this is military brass and has just been a huge pain in the ass.
Since I bought 5,000 rounds of it, what can I do to make this stuff work?
No case gage. I am using these dies:

The marks are on the actual bullet.
Like I said, I am having this problem with brass trimmed to the correct length. I am full length resizing and not short stroking.
I am not using a...
Hey guys, been reloading pistol for a while now, recently started .223 a few months ago. The problem I'm having with .223 is for some reason some of the cartridges that I'm making are getting stuck in the barrel so that the bolt assembly isn't able to close all the way and the gun won't fire...
Anyone have experience with this? I'm about to get my Type 7 FFL and applying for my Type 1 and I was wondering if anyone had experience starting up a gun shop. We would also be selling ammo made in house.
You think you could find out who makes it? I'm considering just buying the cord and making them myself since I got quoted on just the tracer bullet for .60 per round when I could make the whole cartridge for almost 1/3 of that.
I just got my order of 2,000 bullets and man it was FAST. From order to my doorstep was about 5 days. Not bad considering I'm still waiting on 2,500 cast bullets from some other company for almost a month now.
I've been looking around and I can't seem to find where to buy tracer bullets for reloading. Anyone have a source? I'm looking for .40 S&W tracer bullets. Just the bullet not the whole cartridge.
Well quoting isn't working right now, so I'll just have to reply.
To jmorris: I'd have to switch over to the powder through expanding die if I got a bullet feeder.
To Randy: What's the point of having a powder check that you have to look at? You might as well just look down the case, unless...
Yeah, I saw that done, I'm going to see if I can modify the rod or use a different rod instead of grinding out a groove in my press. I'll post pics once I get it set up
I just got the thing so believe me I'm going slow.
Is this what you're talking about?

Does anyone know if this will work with the Hornady L-N-L?
Was reloading today on my LNL and for some reason a few cases got skipped with powder.
Could someone recommend a powder check die with an audible alarm that goes off if there's no powder in the case?
*EDIT*
Alright, I decided to bypass the routing a line in my press way since I might...
