Josh, I have bought 100 of the 223 for my AR 556/223 also and have loaded 50 up but have not been to range yet. They do look like good brass and weigh really close. Also bought 100 .243 brass also. I have asked a couple of other forums about them but nobody seemed to know anything about them...

I just inherited a Browning 81 BLR in 257 Roberts still working on handload for it but its like new also have a Marlin 336 in 30.30 no comparison in quality.

I haven't had much luck with H-1000 in several mag rifles that I tried it with.

You may also want to make sure you are looking straight across on the beam scale at eye level if you are looking at it at a angle it could give a optical illusion.

I load the 30-30 win.with IMR 3031 or IMR 4064 WLR primers, and the Hornady 160 FTX. It works for me.

I always used one of the 4831's with the 270 win but after trying R-22 with 150 gr. bullet's it's all I will use anymore with the 140's or the 150's. Try the R-22 you will not be sorry.

I have to agree with with Paperpuncher49 I always used the 4350s or the 4831s until I tried Varget 38.0 grs with a Barnes 85 gr. TSX = death!

My go to powder for the 270 win was also IMR 4350 or THE 4831's UNTIL I tried R-22.

You did fine, but watch bidding on the reloading dies on ebay you can buy new for some of the prices they are trying to get for used.

Sorry about my first reply do not use this load my bad. Was suppose to be START 5.9 MAX 6.8 of Unique instead of 231 Sorry again was at work and got interrupted.

6.1 grs. of w231 or hp-38 same powder behind 200 gr. Horn XTP. Per Hornady 5.9 start Max 6.8 works for me.

+ 1 for tango2echo, I also shoot 168 A-max out of my .308 some of the most accurate bullets I have shot out of my Tikka Varmint.

pull the bullets and chunk them better safe than sorry, but its your hand and eyes
