Great gun. Trigger is good, I love the decocker, and capacity for a .45 is unbeatable (14/15). The only gripe I have has to do with the grip. Because of the hi cap mag, the grip is really beefy.

Forgive me for my naivety, but I was in 4th grade when this law was passed... Did the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban affect current ownership during that time, or just future ownership? Owners didn't have to give up the "assault rifles" they already owned, did they?

I have the .380 and the 9mm. Both have never had one hiccup. The 9 has about 1700 rounds and the .380 has 800. They have been perfect.

Got these from a guy on ebay. The grip is a standard A2, but they have a nice texture to them. I don't have a camera right now, so what you see is the pic from ebay - As soon as I get access to a camera I will get pics of what they look like on the AR.

Bottom line... Spikes is cheaper and better built. They are a best buy in the AR world.

Not that I know of. Spikes seems to be in high demand because of the quality vs. price. I got a chance to shoot a Spikes on multiple occasions before making my order, and IMO there is no better buy in the AR market. I can, however, see things getting crazy in the next 18-24 months...

I know the wait will be well worth it. I'm excited. It's a great deal for a great rifle.

Great gun (and not just because of the price). I have had one for 5 years and probably have put 1700-2000 rounds down the pipe without one hiccup.
