A Glock is a great choice if you are familiar with handguns as there is no manual safety. A revolver has no safety also but between the two a revolver is probably a little safer. I would suggest something with a manual safety unless of course you are familiar with guns and just have yet to...
Anything by Jules Verne is great if you are looking for an easy read with alot of adventure. I am currently in the middle of two books. Thirteen Moons which is a new NY Best seller and The Island by Aldous Huxley which is a 'what if' continuation to Brave New World. I am a history major so if...
I think alot of it depends on how familiar/comfortable she is with handguns in general. Revolvers are good for novices as well as experts becuase they are simple to clean and take apart. They can never jam and a misfire can be cured with just another pull of the trigger (usually). Now an auto...
I just wanted to know everyones opinion on the best home protection HANDGUN. Now I know most will say a shotgun is the best home protection weapon, but I am more interested in handguns for protection and range fun and shotguns for bird hunting. Have fun posting...
Rem 1187 or 870. Have both and love both. I personally think when looking for a bird hunting shotgun a mag is unnecessary. If you want a shotgun with mag possibilities look for a tactical. But keep the two separate. Ruger Red Label is your rolling in the dough...:D
I have never shot the colt but I do have a SW 686 .357 mag with a 6'' barrel and I love it. But without shooting both I would not be able to make an informed opinion. But I am very happy with my Smith. Good luck on your decision..

It acutally was my thumbs. I went out and shot today and it did it once, then I paid attention to my thumb placement and everything went fine after that. Thank you again for all the great advice guys.. Have a nice day
Thanks
Thank you guys for responding and the great feedback. I called HK and the guy said it was probably just a bad mag. I did not know the HK was notorious for having a loose right slide release but I feel much better knowing that it is common and I dont have a problem. I should have tried...
I just purchased a hk p2000 .40 V2 and shot it about 30 times with no problems. After about 30 rounds the slide would not lock back after the mag was empty. Also, I didnt notice before, but the right slide release is a little loose. I do not think it was like this before the range session...
