    Why a semi-auto shotgun?

The semi-autos are a touch quicker. From my limited experience with Benelli inertia systems, they do shoot softer too. I love the simplicity of my 870, and when the Corps was still provided the ammo to practice with, I got pretty darn quick with the M590/M870, about as fast as any semi auto...

    Full-sized autos for CCW.

G20 in a Comptac CTAC or MTAC is good to go. I carry mine in a CTAC, used to carry the gov't size 1911 in an MTAC. The CTAC is very nice, and the MTAC is even more comfortable.

I have gone to..the GLOCK side.

the 3.5 Ghost connector with 6# trigger spring is great. I've put those on all the Glocks I've owned. I keep waiting for them to fail, since I'm told any modification will instantly turn them into a paper weights, but nothing so far. It's actually better than the stock configuration with its...

    Full-sized autos for CCW.

Used to carry a full size 1911, traded it off (dumbest thing I ever did) and now carry a full size Glock 20. I can't stand compacts for some reason. Full size is the only way to go for me.

    S&W M&P9 torture test – finally broken!

Army XM9 Pistol Trials http://www.riflesnguns.com/pistol/sig/p226 http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/6078/92story.htm Both the Sig and Beretta passed, but the Beretta had cheaper magazines making it cheaper overall. Funny, considering that the guys in sandbox frequently mention the issue mags...

    Another SCOTUS dodge...

Alaska, No, I am not just assuming. (interesting device) I have read the order of dismissal here and find the rationale unquestionably sound. The Ninth Circus is the most activist in the country, so the reinstatement does not surprise me. However, the plaintiff's claim is analagous to someone...

    Another SCOTUS dodge...

Yes, it should. There isn't the slightest showing of proximate causality, in even the weakest sense. " In other words, the "case or controversy" limitation of Art. III still requires that a federal court act only to redress injury that fairly can be traced to the challenged action of the...

    Italian Police on Trial

I wouldn't say it was a situation involving abuse of power. i was in italy during the G8 summit in Genoa, and the video footage I caught on Sky, BBC, Rai, and the rest made it look like the LA riots. The protestors were attacking the Carabinieri with all sorts of weapons, from molotov cocktails...

    Glock Converts... explain!

I came across a good deal on a G21 and ended up buying it. truth be told, I hated the thing. The grip was like a 2x4, the trigger was mushy with a mile of overtravel, and the sight were garbage. Now, a couple thousand rounds later, the grip has grown on me, I've installed meps, and modified the...

    glock plug in steyr????

Well, I tried the plug, and it does not fit as is. The bright side is that it appears a little trimming of the plastic on the plug will fix that easily enough. I think I'll order another one and give it a try. Matt, thanks for the heads up on the guide rod. I think I'll order one of those and...

    glock plug in steyr????

Its an interesting idea....I'll try it when I get home and let y'all know how it works. On another Glock crossover idea, does anyone know if a G19/23 guide rod work in a M-series? They're pretty much the same size.
