Couldn't think of a better title..
Anyway, what is considered the standard bearer for .270 win. for accuracy in a factory load? I know all guns are different and you need to try different loads but what is considered the "Go To" round for factory accuracy?
It seems like everyone leans towards...
I liked the HK I had, it was a great gun, very reliable and never gave me any problems in over 2,000 rounds. That being said it is an overpriced gun. I think you get much more value for your money with a glock. There was nothing about the HK in my opinion that sets it apart enough from other...
I have a revolutionary gun design that I am trying to sell.
Here are some details about the gun, you tell me if you would want to buy it.
This gun has decent ergonomics, with a good grip angle and decent bore axis, decent but nothing to brag about compared to some other models on the...
You better get a good IWB holster for that thing and make sure you don't print. You don't want to get "made".
I would also put a crimson trace grip and some night sights on it. Maybe a Hogue grip sock, or just some electrical tape on the grip.
I understand your point but it's certainly not restricted to taurus brand guns having problems. A friend of mine paid 1400 for a SA TRP that couldn't get through a magazine without stovepipes or FTE's. He picked it up, took it to the range, and sent it back the next day. I know of several people...
Works good so far.
I traded in a gun I had bought for my wife to keep by the bed because it didn't fit her hand and the trigger was too heavy. I got the 709 slim because I had heard many good things about it and though I know many people who say they'd never buy a Taurus, none of them have ever...
I think I like that response the best. I'm glad to see that so many people are realistic about the whole thing. I'll probably get the colt tuned up just because I want to and buy a kimber to carry in the mean time.
I have a colt 1911 that I paid a little over 700 for and it is a great pistol. It's a little on the sloppy side compared to some of the nicer 1000 dollar range guns I've seen but it has ran good for me so far.
I've looked into getting what I would consider basic upgrades that pretty much come...
I love my 1911 but I'd sure prefer a 10mm Delta Elite over my .45 ACP for a bear. Actually I'd prefer a .44 mag or larger for bear defense. But like the earlier poster said, the .45 ACP is much better than nothing. I don't think it will necessarily bounce off a bear.
