Ahem, I assume you'll still be able to write and post on the internet while over there....? If not.... I don't know what will happen, but probably about half of THR will die of withdrawl...:p

Hey Nightcrawler, I keep hearing you mention that you have "drill" over various weekends. Could you explain what that is? I'd be curious to know. I'll be in college next year, so who knows, maybe I'll have drill too.

Looks like a good conservative column - I plan to read it more when I get home today.
Isn't it sad that having the view that humans are of more worth than animals is considered conservative?:scrutiny: Seems like it should a belief that every person should have, at least those that value life...
That was an awesome story. You're a clever writer, Nightcrawler. I'm busy reading your previous story now... I'm currently on episode/chapter six. Great stuff - keep it comin'!!!!

PS - I'm saving all these on my computer for future reading and enjoyment.;)
Quote by MarineTech:
"how up in arms do you think people would have been if it had killed one of the kids in that neighborhood"
Well said. It's like a doublebind - if they kill the lion, eveyrone throws a fit: "it was just trying to sleep peacefully!!" But if they don't kill it and the...
Typical California:
In my government class, everyday we talk about how terrible it was to treat the poor terrorist prisoners that way. Our teacher practically gets the class to say "look how evil our military is! All seven or 8 of them!!... oh, wait, there are about 150,000 troops in Iraq...
Also, check Stoeger's website
(http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/coach.tpl) for their "Coach Gun." It's very nice, and relatively fair-priced, too. They also profiled it on "American Shooter" in their little Gun Tech segment. I'd like to get one myself. I think they've also come out...
You know, that got me thinking... it would be great if someone put together a brief yet complete explanation of all the styling/functional things banned by the AWB, and how they are complete nonsense. That way, all of us could use it to inform those who are still under the influence of the...

I'm planning to share the above-linked article in my government class. Read it... from the second paragraph:
The assailant used a 9mm semiautomatic handgun with an illegal 30-round clip, Wilcox said. "I don't believe...
They very well could be... along with every other gun somewhere down the road. I mean, a Congressman is out there telling all these people in the "Million Mom March" that they should be banned.... they all listen, not knowing any better, teach it to their kids and friends.... it just goes on...
As most of you probably know, they anti-gunners held their "Million Mom March" on Mothers' Day on Sunday in Washington, D.C. One of the Democratic Congressmen who was there mentioned not only continuing the ban on "assault weapons," but also suggested the banning of .223 caliber rifles:
"He...
Hmm... it just seems that springs tend to lose compression and elasticity when compressed or stretched for long periods of time. I guess if they're high quality they should always return to standard compression though, even after a being loaded up for a long time.
From what I understand, when you store magazines full of rounds for extensive periods of time, it would be a good practice to rotate them and let the ones that were under compression for so long rest a while. While this may be a good habit, it probably isn't necessary... If you ask me, a good...
