Well what storm this started, but even so I'll let you know I did purchase the Loaded
PX9151LP yesterday and couldn't be happier. I beleive what I've heard hear and other places including a conversation with Springfield that whether forged, machined and assembled here is the U.S. or down south...
I picked up the Springfield 1911 PX9151LP today, stainless w/ cocobo grips looks and feels nice. In the box was a coupon for the adjustable sights for $29 so I'll be ordering them soon. Just need to hit the range now and make sure it goes boom.
Thanks for all the good information guys.

Accuracy is very important and that's the main reason for the adj. sights, so which ever one I pick will need this option. Hopefully the 1911's are a accurate has everyone say's.
Just not sure if the P19140LP is worth the extra $$ over the P19132LP when both have the adj. sights.

I know presures will change do to more case volume.
I have the model 686 38spl / 357mag 6" barrell and LOVE IT, but now I'm considering its big brother md# 629 44spl / 44mag I would probably shoot more 44 spl. than mag's considering most of my powder burning is at the range rather than in the field hunting. I've heard the 44's are just not has...
Looking at Springfield 1911's the Loaded series, i.e. PX9152LP, P19132LP
PX9628LP
I would like to have a stainless 1911 w/ fully Adj. Sites 5" barrel and Picatinny rail but the rail isn't absolutley a must have.
Would consider other brands in or around the $700 to $1000 price range.
