I had nearly the same experience last weekend. My brother was shooting his new WASR-10 kind of leaning on a rather large tree. I was "smart" and stood behind and to the left, but as the casings bounced off of the tree I caught a few hot ones down the collar. I moved in a hurry.

I guess I should also mention that I've already contacted halvinsales and tjsgeneralstore and have received no response to my questions... The Mossberg site was not helpful either.

I may get run out of the forum, but I use a Mossy 500 20-guage for HD (S&W 40-cal on the nightstand, shotty in the closet). If price is a concern, many times you can find 20-guages a little less pricey than 12. I would suggest a Mossberg Bantam 20-guage. trout

Hi, I recently acquired a used Mossberg 5500. I'm thinking about re-stocking it with a tactical-style stock set. I've visited halvinsales.com and am not seeing quite what I'm looking for. Does anyone out there know what stocks will fit a 5500? From what I can tell the 9200 stocks will fit...
