    What 25 auto just because?

I have an old Astra CUB that is a solid, reliable gun too. Those, or the Colt Junior, are worth checking out.

    What 25 auto just because?

I'd definitely get the Beretta 21, or a 950. They're good, high quality guns, and fun to shoot.

How many of you guys carry a Makarov

I've carried Maks on and off over the years. Usually an East German or Bulgarian. Never had a single problem with any of my Maks.

Anyone ever purchased from Bud's Gun Shop?

I've bought 3 or 4 guns from them over the last few years. I've never had a problem. Items shipped on time, great prices, no problems.

Bullets into pancakes: Has expansion gone too far?

I was hoping to see some pancake shooting in this thread! That .45 pic above does look very strange.

    Why the hate for LCI

I don't mind simple, unobtrusive LCIs. But overly large or complex ones are unwelcome. Still, I'd take an LCI any day over an internal lock. I don't want anything on my gun that's designed to make it inoperable!

Which of these two would you buy?

    Colt. No question.

    Boberg XR9-S

I handled one at a gun show. It was very nicely made, and very small. A unique and interesting mechanism. I'm currently on the waiting list for one.

    Keltec pf9 vs bersa bp9cc vs ?

I had a PF-9. Several Kel-Tecs actually. But I sold them all because I just didn't trust them after some reliability and parts breakage problems with my PF-9. I've never had any problems with my Bersa Thunder .380 or 383A. I'd take pretty much any Bersa over any Kel-Tec. Better yet, I'd...

New pistol arrived, anyone else have one?

I wish I could report my experience, but I'm still on the waiting list... shouldn't be too much longer. I'll be looking forward to your report, and any other replies.

    Springfield XDs

I've had no issues with my XDs. It shoots great. No light primer hits or any other issues with Blazer Brass FMJ, Gold Dots and Golden Sabers. I plan to run another 150 rounds through it along with some CorBon SD ammo. I expect it to run 100%. Now I just need to find the right holster...

    XD-s: Single stack=hard smack

I bought an XDs a few weeks ago and put over 100 rounds through it at my first range session. Finished up with a few mags of hot carry ammo. I found it quite soft shooting for such a slim .45. Different hand shapes seem to react differently to the recoil of certain guns. I can't shoot 1...

Shot a Kahr PM9 for the first time

The PM9 has been my main carry gun for almost 8 years. Mine has been 100% reliable, accurate, easy to shoot, and very easy to conceal.

    H&K ownership poll.

I like the older HKs. I currently have a P7 and a USP .45c. But I hope to add a P9S, HK4, and VP70 to my collection soon. And someday an SP89 (or MP5 if I have the extra $$). The new models don't really interest me much.

    Carry Flashlight

Just an idea... maybe check out HDS. The HDS Clicky comes with a bezel down clip, and can be set up to come on in high mode with one click, and turn off with another click.

    Remora "no clip" Holster

DAdams, The XDs is great. I'm just having a hard time finding a holster that takes advantage of its thinness. My problem is I'm too thin, so any bulk under my belt is very noticeable. The PM9 carries effortlessly in my experience, but the XDs is just enough bigger to take a little more...

Thin suede IWB holster? Where are they?

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I've seen the usual selection of Galco, Bianchi, Uncle Mike's, High Noon, etc. The problem is they either ride too high, have big bulky, plastic clips, or are just too thick (nothing I've seen comes close to the thinness of the suede material in the Gun Leather...

Thin suede IWB holster? Where are they?

I've been carrying a PM9 for the last 8 years in a thin, suede IWB holster made by "Gun Leather". This is the best holster I've ever used. It adds almost no bulk whatsoever to the gun, has a thin profile, strong metal clip, stays in place, and conceals like no other. But, apparently, Gun...

    Remora "no clip" Holster

I just got a Remora holster, hoping to use it for My Springfield XDs. Unfortunately, the Remora holster is way thicker than I ever expected. It pretty much doubles the size of the gun, totally negating its slimness. It makes me look like I have a dictionary shoved into my waistband. Mine...
