    Philando Castile's Diamondback DB9FS pistol?

Thanks for the article. I see that Diamondback has been bought by Taurus. The firsts photos I saw of the pistol carried by Castile were small and grainy. I thought at first it was maybe a carved and textured Polymer 80 Glock clone frame with an aftermarket slide and trigger. I thought at first...

    Philando Castile's Diamondback DB9FS pistol?

The situation I had with a couple who are now heavily reported on did draw my attention to a handgun I had never seen before. The Diamondback looks like an improved Glock from the exterior so I am really curious about it.The personal situation I had is in conflict with the narrative being...

    Philando Castile's Diamondback DB9FS pistol?

There is a police shooting that has had heavy coverage by the media as of late. As many of you might recall, Philando Castile was shot and his girlfriend Diamond Reynolds then immediately live streamed the aftermath with an oddly calm voice. A few months before this incident I personally had a...

Best .25 acp pocket pistol ever made.

The best CHEAP 25 auto by far is the FIE Titan. I had one which my Dad paid $45 for. It was crazy reliable, small, and quite accurate.

cheap estate buckshot, anyone had problems?

I chronoed Estate buckshot and it had higher FPS than any of the name brands that were loaded to the same Drm Eq specifications. In my opinion it is superior to the name brands. However I have not tested the Estate with the roll crimp like shown in the ad.

    Mossberg 930 Jam-O-Matic

In my first outing, all rounds fired were a variety of full powered buck shot Remington, Federal, and Estate. It did well with the Estate. All 3 3/4 dram buck of various sizes. I also did some 3 inch rounds. No low power rounds have been tried yet. I had several jams on the first outing. I...

    Mossberg 930 Jam-O-Matic

My new Mossberg 930 has been a Jam-O-Matic. With less than 50 rounds through it I have had many jams. Including a type of jam where the shell elevator/lifter gets stuck. The flaw seems to be inherent with the design. I did a total cleaning and oiling when I first got it. Any thoughts on...

Dash Cam video showing danger after bad guy is hit

My thought was that this video might illustrate that in a self defense situation a downed bad guy is still potentially very lethal to either yourself or your family.

Dash Cam video showing danger after bad guy is hit

I was drifting about at random on the Internet when I came upon a police cam video of a shooting. There is a struggle followed by a two way exchange of gun fire. The thing to watch in this video is how potentially lethal, committed and ardent the bad guy remained even after being shot and...

    Regulation through regulatory agencies

It is true that these regulatory agencies give public notice. However, coverage by the press is minimal. Furthermore the purpose of the future regulations will be to weaken the 2nd Amendment. Dog Town Tom, you know not what you write. Regulatory agencies take generalized and broadly worded...

    Regulation through regulatory agencies

One method they will destroy the 2nd Amendment will be through the use of lawsuits and regulatory agencies. Regulatory agencies can pass regulations that will have little coverage or notice. In time the regulations can, as they are purposefully designed, cause tremendous destruction. Also giving...

    Mandatory Firearm Insurance

An additional angle for the Leftist (my wife is from East Germany and yes Leftist is the correct term for these people) to greatly increase cost and provide for indirect national registration is by requiring mandatory firearm insurance. This will also provide a large funding source for the...

    Rossi 357 mag snub.

I had a Rossi 357 sub. It would go into a locked solid jam when 357 Mag rounds were fired in it. I sent it to the factory and it came back working good.

    CC with PPK

I have a WW2 made 32cal PPK and it does not appear to be drop safe when the safety is disengaged and it is uncocked in double action. When the safety is on it is awkward to quickly disengage the safety.

    Hearing Damage: .40 S&W vs .44 Special?

Concerning the 44 spc and revolvers in general, I wonder if the cylinder gap will cause greater and more splitting sound waves toward the direction of the shooter as compared to an auto? Also I would think barrel length might be a big factor with shorter barrels I assume are somewhat louder...

Anyone else chasing the guns of their youth?

In college around between 1986 to 1990 my friend and his Dad and I would go shoot his Dad's 357 revolvers. Of the three brands the Ruger Six series was my favorite by a large margin. So fast forward 20 + years when I decided to get a revolver the choice was a new in the box 357 Ruger Speed Six...

    Help with Rossi .357

I sent mine in to Rossi due to it locking up and the cylinder rubbing, it came back a much better revolver. I think they gave it trigger job because the double action trigger pull was much better when it came back. I would go ahead send it in.
