    MBC order

Hey folks, how are we? It's been a bit of a while since I've been able to be on this forum. I went to make my annual bullet order at MBC, and discovered my discount code no longer works. Is there a new code? Has Brad discontinued them? Thanks for any help

    After 2000 rounds, P365 failure

So you replaced a striker that had exhibited no problems, with one that has now exhibited an issue... and it’s the gun’s fault? Out of curiosity, when was the last time you cleaned the striker channel? I’m always surprised how much residue builds up.

Full size carry weapon - they don't seem so concealed

I'm 5'8", 230. For years I carried a 1911, and recently switched to a Sig P320 full size. I carry daily IWB, usually with nothing more than a t-shirt for cover. I don't wear oversized clothing. All it takes is a good belt, and a good holster.

Difference between Trijicon HD night sights...GL101Y vs GL101-RY

I believe the tritium vials in the rear sight are yellow, instead of green. This helps I very low light conditions, because you have two colors, making the green front sight easier to differentiate from the yellow rear dots.

    Sig P320 First Impressions

I've had mine for about 4 months, and can tell you it only gets better. I've got about 3000 rounds through mine, and have yet to find anything that it chokes on.

RCBS Bench Primer: lubing the plunger stem.

I no longer use my bench primer regularly, but I never needed to lube it. If the stem is sticking, it needs to be cleaned, not lubed. Lubricating it may mask the issue, but as the lube attracts more contaminants, will cause further issues.

    Reloading coated vs. uncoated bullets

Why do you say the coated bullets were harder than you should use? If you're trying to prevent leading, then bullet hardness makes a difference. With a coated bullet, the brinnell hardness makes no difference at all. It's more similar to loading a plated bullet than a plain cast bullet.

Having trouble with once fired 380 auto brass

I recently ran a large batch of 9mm, and discovered a ton of .380 brass in the mix. It didn't take long before I was able to id a .380 case by touch alone.

    How much to reload?

Neither. I never load up everything I have, but I do load well in excess of my current schedule.

    Hornady LNL Press Question

I just glued a dime to the press frame. It's been there for 20,000 rounds now.

    Hornady LNL AP loose insert

I had an insert come loose on mine when I first got it, and got a little carried away. A dab of red loctite, and it's been fine for 4 years.

    Shortages

Ok. I understand people are panicking and buying everything in sight, but Hoppes 9!?! Really? I went to the range last week, and on the way home remembered I needed more. It took stops at a gunshop, an outdoor store, and two Walmarts to find some. Finally found it at the second Walmart. They...

What the Sam Hill is N.T???

NT stands for new technology. Winchester's lead free primers. What you are dealing with is a crimped in primer. That "ring" will need to be reamed or swaged to remove. NT are a problem for those of us who reload 45 ACP also, as they use small primers instead of large. Oops. I stand corrected...
