    How Long to Hold Grudge

Don't know if you'd call it a grudge, but the lock's still there. I will NEVER buy a new S&W revolver with a lock. Apparently S&W doesn't care whether people buy their product.

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Pic of my bench? Nope, not gonna' do it, y'all would laugh. I have 2 single stage, 2 progressive, & a turret press, along with 2 powder measures (& 3 measures on the 2 progressives & the turret) mounted on a Black & Decker Workmate. Didn't think it was possible, did you?

    Night sights for S&W Shield

As someone said, no one set-up works for everyone. Some really like the i-dot, or figure eight sights, but I despise them. If I'm trying to shoot with them, I abandon the sights altogether, & do the best I can point shooting.

    I don`t need them, I like them!

I'm just a little younger than you, retired, & while my income is not all that great, I have some discretionary $$$. I have no debt, & I'm widowed, so it's just me. The last couple years I've bought quite a few guns. I happen to believe that the value of the dollar falls every day, but these...

    Night sights for S&W Shield

I recently bought a set of TruGlo night sights off eBay for my M&P40C. They were very reasonably priced, $63.00, I believe. I am very pleased with them, too. They seem brighter than most, & present a good sight picture day or night. My 2¢......

    P220 Carry-I just don't get it.

I'm with SOX on this. I have no trouble concealing a normal P220 grip, but a full size slide is uncomfortable for me in an IWB holster, makes a sore spot on my hip at the muzzle very quickly. A P220 carry is not uncomfortable. A 5" 1911 is the same in an IWB, a 4" 1911 is OK. I see NO, that's...

    Unique vs Bullseye

I bought my first loading gear in Mar 1973. With it I bought 1 lb of Unique & 1/2 lb of Bullseye. I couldn't tell ya' how much Unique I've burned in the last forty one years, but I can tell ya' I used the last of that 1/2 lb of Bullseye about six months ago, when I ran out of all other pistol...

Which Is A Better .357? Colt, Ruger, Smith?

For a 357 Mag to shoot the crap out of, & not break, I'd choose either a S&W 686 or Ruger Security Six, with the cost effective edge going to the Ruger. I've never liked the GP Rugers. And while the Python was a beautiful gun, they would never hold up as long as an L-frame S&W or a Ruger.

I Don't Like Polymer Guns Because....

I like SOME polymer guns. Glocks, not so much. I have polymer Kahrs, S&W M&Ps, & Sigs that I really like. I don't like ALL metal frame guns, either. BHP's for example. Many actually love 'em. I could never warm up to them. And I'd rather have a good slingshot & a pocket full of ball bearings...

Lee Lube Cut with Alcohol, can't tell difference.

I spray pistol cases with Lee lube cut with alcohol, before sending them through a progressive press. The alcohol evaporates quickly leaving a dry film of lube. The cases lubed this way go through a five station press MUCH more smoothly, with much less effort on the operating handle. Lubed cases...

    S&W lock conundrum

I don't mind the IL on an N-frame too much, as it didn't change the frame profile like it did on the smaller frames. There's a guy over on the S&W forums making & selling a "Plug" kit to replace the IL, & it works well, sells for $25.00, & can be done in 10-15 mins.

1911 reliability in 2-3 day class

Rob Pincus is not impressed with 1911's. That's OK, I'm not impressed with Rob Pincus. Actually, I find him pretty comical, but that's just me..........

Are Big Bore Revolvers the Answer to the Crunch?

Who says it has to be a revolver? I shoot on my blacktop driveway, recovering brass is not a problem. And, I do not feel under-gunned with either a 1911, Sig P220, S&W 4506-4516, or my Kahr CW45, loaded with 200 gr SWC's that I load in bulk. I know where those are going when I pull the trigger, too.

C&E Gun Shows Raise Price Every Year

It's called inflation. The FED is printing & adding $90 billion a month of Monopoly money to the money supply. You don't have to be an economist to realize the dollar buys less & less every month.

    Kahr CW40/45 vs Ruger LCR

I have multiple semi-autos, & revolvers too. I have two Kahrs, a CW9, & a CW45. For daily carry, I'd recommend the CW45. Flat & light, carries great, & MUCH easier to shoot well than a short barreled revolver. And, something that's very important to me in a carry gun, night sights. Kahr has...

    Sig SP2022 9mm

A lot of the custom makers, Sparks, Lobo, Winthrop, UBG, to name a few offer holsters for the SigPro. Holsters for Springfield Armory XD fit it too. I have a 40 cal SP2022, couldn't be more pleased with it.

    P220 or G30sf as a duty gun?

I've owned one P220. It was much more accurate than it should have been, I can see no reason for the Sig to be that accurate, but they are. I do not interface well with Glocks. They seem very awkward to me, & are difficult to shoot well (for me). So, I've never owned one, & never will. In a...
