    They all went BANG!!

OH, OK Yes, you can still seat them longer, and crimp into the bullet's diameter. I buy RN bullets with no grooves, load them in both 9mm and 38SP/357, and crimp into the bullet diameter. Doing that will allow you to load all the brass he has and not throw any of it away. jmo, .

    They all went BANG!!

Yes, there is special cases with a thinner web for loading DEWC flush with the case mouth. Me, I just seat them long and crimp DEWC in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd lube groove, like this. Pic not mine, stolen off the interweb: jmo, .

Half the servicos aventuras primers I have used fail

Gee, I don't recall any of that "harder primer cups and Wolf offering refunds" discussion here on THR. It could just be I'm senile, could you post links to those 2012 Wolf primer discussions? thanks, .

Half the servicos aventuras primers I have used fail

Some of us went thru this with Wolf primers back in 2012. There were even some who swore their seating was NOT the issue, it was the primers. All the Similar Theads at the bottom of this thread are proof of that. I remember putting a shim on my press where the priming pin hit and adjusting the...

Let’s see an odd item that you use in your reloading process.

I have a lot of "repurposed" stuff in my reloading closet. Here's a chip-clip and bamboo skewer used to coax the last few primers out of the trough on my Pro1000: A bar end bicycle mirror to check a case for powder: And the ever-present roll of TP: The sewing machine light: more to come. .

    Cleaning Brass Grip Ferrules

You can mask off the grip by using a leather punch to punch a hole in some tape the size of the ferrule. Put the hole punched tape over the grip to protect the grip from any chemical/abrasive you will be using. jmo, .

Im looking to do a pig hunt this spring

Here's a few in Florida: https://kissimmeeriverhuntandfish.com/ I've been to this one a long time ago, it's on an Island that has an airstrip if you want to fly in. They use dogs and the dog handler is on horse back. Lots of fun when I went... As I recall, they collected piglets and pen raised...

Jeez Louise, all I want is one hex bolt!

I have found Amazon to be a good source for SMALL hardware, like Chicago Screws, holster clips, angle brackets, shelf brackets, etc. You will be surprised what shows up in a search of Amazon. That, and I have a distribution center nearby and get next day delivery most times. OP: sorry again for...

    Vibrating Primer Tube fFllers?

OK, why can't you straighten out that deformity with a tapered pin (an awl) or drill bit shank?? That should be easy enough to do. Or ask FA for a replacement... jmo, .

Jeez Louise, all I want is one hex bolt!

Yeh, after many years of hoarding nuts/bolts because I live 30 minutes from the nearest Hardware store, and not finding what I need in my stash... I now stock pieces of threaded rod and a bunch of matching nuts. I can make a bolt of any size or length from that all-thread/nut stock and save a...

    BUG question

I'll just leave this pic here, no need to explain: Note the thick wallet in the left pocket as a counterweight to protect his spine... jmo, .

Jeez Louise, all I want is one hex bolt!

I have a ft. long piece of all-thread that is 7/8x14 that I bought from McMaster-Carr ($29+ shipping): https://www.mcmaster.com/products/all-thread-rods/thread-size~7-8-14/ I have a piece I bored out a 5/8" or 3/4" diameter square bottomed hole and make bushing out of 01 tool steel to do what I...

Rust prevention under leather lever wrap??

I would try soaking a short piece of the leather wrap in some boiled linseed oil. You may need to work the oil into the leather though. Then wrap it tightly around some similar piece of steel like Loop, then let it dry. The oil should dry into a moisture barrier but may somewhat darken the...

    I dropped my press..

The point of impact/contact (of the press) to the concrete would determine the likely hood of damage to the press. Without that information it is hard to determine if any damage happened. That said, there are tests that can determine the alignment/function of the press and some have been...

    anyone carry this way??

Yeh, for a while now. You don't need to buy larger jeans, just a longer/stiffer belt. I have "converted" several holsters to be worn outside my pants but behind my belt. For most I added metal belt clips that I zip-tied closed the open ends. Those clips can be adjusted up or down to change the...

Vibe motor for powder measure - powder settling

Thanks for responding to my post. Several days have passed and I'm just curious as to why you haven't made or tried a wooden weight yet? Making that weight and testing it will either prove or disprove its viability. Pic of the diy wooden weight: I use that weight when loading for handgun on my...
