    5.56x45 Steel jacket ammo.

I've been told that some of the russian ammo has steel jacket rounds. I understand that most of it is steel cased, and this may be causing some confusion. Is there such a thing as steel jacket slugs in 5.56 ammo? jim

Reflex or Red Dot Sight Question

I'm thinking about getting an AR15, and adding either a reflex sight or red dot sight. I hear they're both good, but have no experience with them. So, my question is: With a 20" bbl and 55-60 gr. slugs, using these sights, what is the effective range of this combo on say an 18" circle? Thanks!

    FedOrd Springfield

    .38 Spl. Load

My apologies of this question has already been asked several times, but I don't know the answer. Can a 148gr. HBWC, loaded inverted with the hollow base out over 3.0 gr. of Bullseye be an effective round for 2" to 4" bbl revolvers? jim

    SP101 Reloads.

What 110 gr.JHP's would be good for hot .38 Spl. loads in a 3" bbl SP101? I use this for concealed carry, and would like something that is less likely to over penetrate. Does anyone have a favorite reload for this pistol? jim

    Bullet jump in .45ACP Revolvers

I get bullet jump from recoil when firing .45ACP uncrimped factory ammo in my S&W revolver. The slugs will actually fall out of the cylinder if the pistol is pointed at the floor after a few rounds have been fired. Is there a way to solve this problem short of working up a reload with a...
