I removed the bolt once on a Winchester style lever action to give it a good cleaning. Won't be doing that again. Took me a long time to put it all back together.
Ammo prices are good right now. Buy if you need it. But ammo doesn't seem to make a good financial investment if you're not going to shoot it. It's easier to buy ammo than it is to sell ammo. And with the exception of .22 LR flippers, I don't typically see people make a profit when they sell off...
Each to their own but I don't think it helps to have a symbol of death on a firearm. It's not what I would want to have presented as evidence in front of a jury. Maybe you just view this gun as a toy but still not what I would want.
