Sometime the gas ports looks clean and it is not. I used a drill bit to clean mine out by twisting it with my fingers. I would also check the specifications of the pistion and the cylinder to make sure they are with inn spec, the parts when they are heating up could be closing the...
The brackets I make to hang bins on the side of the Strong Mount. After putting the brackets for the bins on I found the powder throw to low and made the new bracket to raise it for access. Dillon make the brackets for the bins I had to pass on the price for them. The last two pictures are...
I have a Dillon 550 and it is a great press and it will put out a lot of ammo. I fired 250 round though the 1911 at the range plus 250 .22. today and loading the ACP was a breeze. The point is if you are not shooting a lot of ammo why spend a grand on a press and I am thinking that it it could...
The second weapon I purchased was a Model 19 S&W Revolver and I was shooting with a friend who had another Model Smith Revolver he was shooting. I ran out of ammo and he passed some ammo over to shoot and I loaded it up and the first round I fired stuck the cylinder and it would not open or...
Seems like a lot of money to spend to reload one pistol cartridge! If you are not going to load a lot of ammo and fire it seem a waste of money. I just sold a Rock Chucker Jr kit and purchaser reloads .45 ACP, 9MM and is happy with the money savings and fun he is having with this simple to use...
This makes a tool removalble from the bench top and storable.
The first picture notice the marked circle that will be larger than the bolt win the accessories are attached to the bench for ease of installation. There is a threaded anchor screwed into a hole in the bottom of the bench for...
The item on the left is concave on the other end and shaped like a bullet and marked H13, center some type of tool marked M1 .30 and to the right are these Lee?
Thanks
Emmett
I found these in a box marked small and large primer tool. The one above is a RCBS priming plunger and cup the ones below are the same size with out the threads and hole to tighten.
Thanks
Emmett
The finish on the metal casting is rough, it is not smooth! I left the finish on the press, roughed it up with some sand paper and shot it. There is a rough finish not perfect but I think it looks a lot better than it did. You can also find the type of paint that will wrinkle in an auto store...
It is called Safety Green and it is the higher quality Rust-Oleum and I picked it up at Grainger. I paid more for the paint than you can get at a hardware outlet, if you can find it in one of these stores it will be cheaper.
I can get all three of the lights close enough to each press for...
This is pictures of a Rock Chucker I refurbished and install on a Strong mount. I had to do some grinding on the Chucker base to get it one the mount stright and had to also grind to positing the mount so it would not spring when mounted to the bench top. I fabricated the plate on the rear of...
I just had my CV-500 crap out and I fixed it! The problem with mine was the thermo switch stuck open and would no longer supply voltage to the windings. If you can find someone who rebuilds small motors the can rewind the motor if need be. If anyone has a older CV-500 with the old motor inn it...
