^^ It occurs both when I sling shot it and when I release the slide stop. The gun and mag aren't brand new. I have had it for quite some time now. I did also realize that the more rounds I have in there, it seems to have more tension as jbm0207 mentioned. But the 92FS has been used for years now...

I will definitely go and purchase a new mag. In regards to the firing pin, when I lock the slide back and tilt the gun upwards or downwards, I can actually see the firing pin move in and out...this doesn't seem normal. What should be done at this point?

Sorry guys. It's a Beretta 92FS. The round isn't making it all the way into the barrel. Like it gets jammed up then I have to pull back the slide a little bit to let the round go in straight. It gets caught on the firing pin. From whats happening and what you guys say, its probably a bad magazine.

Hey fellas, 9mm Beretta. Put the magazine in and cycle the receiver back to load a round in. As soon as I let go to let the receiver slam forward and set the round, it jams. It doesn't completely seat the round...I do make sure that the gun is clean whenever I shoot. I have tried different...

Quentin, I know a few things about guns. BUT I am not quite comfortable with choosing upper or lower receivers of that nature because I do not know whats good and whats not. AND there are so many to chose from.

There are some really good responses in here. I'm glad I didn't just go out and buy an Olympic Arms AR. I think it will be between S&W, Stag, or Bravo Company Carbine Mod 1. I am sure that with whichever one I chose, they will shoot the same. Thanks for the input all!
