    Mini 14 target v Standard accuracy?

    I have an older Model, with a few cheap Mods and 9x scope, it shoots under 1.5 MOA with factory ammo and under 1 MOA with my handloads.

    One piece scope mount for Savage ?

    My brother just got a 116 Savage in 30-06 What is available for one piece mounts ? Would prefer something low. Also does the one piece mount pose a problem for loading from the top ?
