It appears the design has changed. I got mine about a month ago. My 442 sits much deeper than yours. I also had to trim it in front of the CT button. It was more sqaure and very ubcomfortable

Perhaps a dumb question I bought a 442 last April (love the "black" look) It has a 1 7/8" barrel. I love the short barrel and the gun over all for pocket carry. But why 1 7/8" and not 2" ??? Is there something special about the 1/8" ? Joe
