I really need help selecting an Air Rifle for Squirrels.

What Rondog says!!! Also, I believe silencers on airguns follow same laws as conventional firearms. If it's part of the firearm as manufactured ok, but add-ons illegal. Might check it out first.

I really need help selecting an Air Rifle for Squirrels.

In my opinion, do your homework. If the rifle/ammo selection doesn't generate at least 12 ft lb of energy or more it is not a responsible choice. While a very acurate shot with a lesser combo will dispatch a squirrel, lesser shots aren't in the realm of humane. There are lots of good choices out...

Looking for a .357 for concealed carry

For carry while backpacking or general outdoor carry, I love my Taurus Tracker Titanium 357, 4". Very light, ported barrel solid and acurate. Thousands of rounds through it with no problems and light enough to forget you're carrying. Vertical shoulder rig and proper clothing and your good to go...

Just ordered my first break-barrel air rifle!

Just remember non airgun oils can also detroy the seals in your rifle. Springers really don't need much in the way of cleaning after the initial cleanup. If I remember correctly, most air shooters, including competition shooters, clean their bores seldom to none at all. Airgun rifling is very...

Just ordered my first break-barrel air rifle!

6x6 is correct, pellet selection is extremely important in air guns. Each rifle/pistol has a favorite it likes to be fed. I sighted in a Quest for a guy I work with and as stated previously, the artilery hold will come in handy on this rifle, as it does have a fair amount of spring bounce...

How much do you clean your Muzzle loader during Hunting Season?

I usually wipe down with Wonder Lube if I plan on hunting within a week or so if still loaded. I "mark" hte barrel with a red ribbon before locking away. Been doing it this way for years with no ill effects.

do any of you guys carry a pocket knife

Yes, always. Usually a Buck Lancer - small and easy to carry. A friend at work gave me a Boker Muskrat and I carry it often. That knife is inexpensive but just feels really good. If I'm serious, I carry a Gerber Gator.

    Air Gun Shooters?

Count me in! Been an airgun nut for years, and always will be. I have many favorites but an ungly Chinese TS 45 does hold a special place in my heart, being my first real springer!! Quirky, with a "special" smell when fired, a neat ratchet sound when being cocked, and pretty darned acurate. A...
