    Only the Brave Need Apply...

I carry a NAA 22 mag in my pocket. It's not ideal but it is better than just a knife. In my current line of work it's hard to carry anything bigger.

    Ruger carbine: Mini-14 or 77/357?

    I wouldn't grab either the Mini14 or 77/357 over a Garand but if I had to I would rather grab a Mini 14 over a 357 bolt.

    9mm carry

Another vote fora Kahr 9mm. I like the CM9 and pocket carry it everyday.

    Beretta 92 or SW 5906

I voted for the Smith. I've owned both and while the Beretta is a decent weapon the one I had went back to the factory twice since the trigger spring kept falling out. The 5906 has been 100%.

    Traded...Ruger LC9 for a Kahr CM9

    That's a good trade. I love my CM9s.

    Friend with gun in bank

Your buddy panicing like he did when it was obviously concealed makes me wonder what would happen if he needs to draw it under stress.

    Left/righty confusion

I had this problem too but enough shooting and I have become totally ambidextrous. I shoot with both eyes open too.

    10mm thoughts

I love the 10mm. I've owned the 1006, 1086, 1066, Glock 20, Glock 29 and a pair of 610 4". I thought the 1086 had a better trigger out of the autos and one of the 610 was even better than that. I also owned one of the first Mectech 10mm uppers used it with a G20 lower. I reload so I had lots of...

Looking for an XD9 subcompact holster

I like a Desantis Cozy Partner or an Alessi Talon II.

9mm+p in a rifle, 327 Federal in a handgun, about the same

Dang it I'm may have to get a 327. That's about the 10th time someone has reported chrono readings like that. I really don't need another caliber to reload but that kind of speed out of a short barrel sure is tempting.

    Dilemma at the Pawn Shop!

Heck you may be able to get both. you did say it was pawn shop. No way I'd pay their asking price. negotiate for both. If that doesn't work for both then get the HD.

New Member & Owner of a Ruger SP 101 Magnum 357

I for one don't like messing with trigger kits as I've seen them cause too many problems. I just dry fire the hell out of it until it smoothes out.

Talk of the SP101 in .22 made me want a .22 DA revolver...

I'd say you did a lot better than that Ruger but I too want to try one out. I'd like to see how it compares to my 4" 617 and 3" 317.

    robbed at knife point

Good thing all he wanted was their property. Only reason to escalate was if he wanted more in that situation. 21 foot rule applies. Forget your gun control his knife hand and plan on getting cut just try not to get stabbed.

    Stoeger Coach Gun?

I can only answer the skeet question as I don't hunt anymore. I use a 20" for skeet and am usually hitting more than my friends with their longer barrels. I don't see why a 20" wouldn't take care of you with all your hunting needs.

Which SIGs have smoothest DA/SA trigger?

    I've owned P220s, P226s in 9, 40 and 357. P229 in 40 and P239 in 40. It's a toss up between the P229 and P239 on the smoothest DA/SA triggers.

    tigger spring fell out

I had it happen to me twice with 92FS and I got rid of it and never look at them again. It's not something that should happen with a defense weapon.

    Powder Valley

I took advantage of that too. Plus I added 8lbs of powder under the same hazmat and free shipping. Can't beat that.

    Question on Powder Valley Inc

They sent me one by e-mail. Of course I got in on the free shipping and hazmat with the Tula primers.

Squib, bullet stuck in barrel, etc be honest

I had it happen to me in a 1006 and a Taurus 85. This was back before I got a Dillon 550. Both times I could tell I didn't put enough powder in.
