My response to the question is if your concealing properly how would they know if you have it.......Here in California (San Joaquin valley)if a sign is posted and you go in and then they find out you have it they can ask you to leave,then if you refuse then its an issue....But here they don't...

I have or i should say my daughter has a .22 and all i do is run a bore snake thru it before and after range day and oil the barrel....And every so often i break it all down to do a detailed cleaning. I have yet to have any issues doing it this way.

If i had to choose just one......hummmm....I would have to say my Remington 700.Reason being i can hunt with it,and defend my self with it....And i wouldn't have to worry because its stainless.It might not be the best choice but i am very accurate with it.
