I worked with a guy that set off a Bic lighter in his shirt pocket when stick welding (they think a chunk of hot slag burner into the plastic lighter ) he got burner pretty bad it would have been worse if he didnt have welding sleves and gloves on

I dont like the lighter Idea ((BOOM )) I use a stick match with gloves

Ring caps I have tried the ring caps for some of the same reasons you have mentioned they work ok in my rifles but only so so in the revolvers and if you get a misfire you need to dig the plastic out of the nipple im going to try to take the cap part out of the ring cap and try that the funny...
